What is Drunk Pirates?

Drunk Pirates is the high-seas spinoff from the team behind Drunk Shakespeare. A crew of professional actors sets sail through Treasure Island, with one small complication: one of them has had five shots of rum.

You never know what to expect when one of the actors is drinking!

As alliances shift and sword fights break out, the sober cast fights to keep the story afloat while the slurred monologues threaten to sink it.

We surprised my 75 year old MIL for her birthday and purchased the Royalty seats.  She had no idea what we were doing until we walked in the door and were handed our pirate hats.  You will be greeted with a delicious shot when you walk thru the curtains.  The show is funny and interactive and the cast was OUTSTANDING with their acting skills but also making my MIL feel like royalty and involving her in decisions.  If you are on the fence about booking, I hope this review helps you make the decision to purchase.  For our family, it was worth every penny and my MIL talked about it all the way home and had a smile that we have not seen in awhile.  A perfect 1.5 hour of laughter, champagne and celebration, we cannot recommend it enough
